    Sequoia National Park
    Foothills Area:
    Potwisha ** Open all year, 42 sites, $14 fee per day, pay phones, next to Kaweah River.
    Buckeye Flat ** Open mid-May to 10/1. No RVs or trailers, 28 sites, $14 fee per day. Near Kaweah River.
    South Fork ** Open year-round. No drinking water, 10 sites, free camping.

    Mineral King Area:
    Open Memorial Day weekend through Oct. 31.

    Atwell Mill * 21 sites, $8 fee per day, food and showers nearby, pay phones, near Kaweah River and Sequoias.
    Cold Springs * 40 sites, $8 fee per day, pay phones, and riding stables nearby.
    Lodgepole * Open year-round. 214 sites, $16 fee per day, food, showers, laundry, pay phones, and dump station nearby. Near Kaweah River and Sequoias.
    Dorst * Open until Sept. 2. 204 sites, $16 fee per day. Dump station, nature programs, pay phones, and close to Kaweah River.

    Kings Canyon National Park
    Grant Grove Area:
    Azalea + Open year-round. 113 sites, $14 fee per day, food , showers, nature programs, pay phones, and riding stables nearby.

    Cedar Grove Area:
    Open late-April to mid-November.
    Sentinel * 82 sites, $14 fee per day, food, showers, laundry, dump stations, nature programs and riding stables available in summer only. Pay phones nearby.

    Sheep Creek * 111 sites, $14 fee per day, same amenities as Sentinel campground.

    Sequoia National Forest/ National Monument
    Hume Lake Area:
    Open late May into fall, weather permitting. Hume Lake + 74 sites, $16 fee per day, food, laundry, and pay phones nearby. Nature programs offered in the summer months only.

    Big Meadows/Stony Creek Area:
    Open late May into fall, weather permitting.
    Stony Creek * Reservations available, 49 sites, $16 fee per day, food, showers, and nature programs available in summer months only. Stony Creek Lodge is open late May through September. Call (559) 452-1000 for more information or visit its Web site.
    Upper Stony * 18 sites, $12 fee per day, food, showers, laundry and nature programs available only in the summer.
    Horse Camp, Buck Rock, and Big Meadows: Free of charge. Nature programs available in summer only.

    * Each site has one small box (47 1/2" long x 17" deep x 17 3/4"high).
