Sequoia Services
Giant Forest Museum:
New exhibits about the Giant Sequoias. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Lodgepole Village:
The visitor center is open 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday to Monday. Books, maps,
first aid and exhibits. Wilderness permits available. (559) 565-3782.
Walter Fry Nature Center:
Open June 30 through Aug. 19. Hands-on natural
experience for children of all ages. Located in the Lodgepole Campground
just a ¼ mile east of the visitor center.
Wuksachi Village:
This village is at 7,200-foot elevation and is 4 miles north of the General Sherman
Tree. Open year-round.
In the Foothills:
The visitor center is open daily 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Crystal Cave tickets are sold here
until 3:45 p.m. Visitors can find exhibits on the foothills, books, maps, bear canisters, first
aid and local wilderness permits. (559) 565-3135.
Mineral King Area:
The ranger station is open 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursday to Sunday and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Wednesday. Hours are reduced after Sept. 3. (559) 565-3768.
Kings Canyon Services
Grant Grove Village:
The visitor center is open 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. Visitors can view exhibits and a 15-minute
slide show on the area's history and nature. Books, maps, first aid and
local wilderness permits are available. (559) 565-4307.
Cedar Grove Area:
This area features granite cliffs, roaring waterfalls and the powerful
Kings River. The visitor center hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Sept. 3, and reopens in mid-April. (559) 565-3793.
Hume Lake & Big Meadows Areas:
The Hume Lake District office is 19 miles west of the Kings Canyon entrance, 35860 Kings Canyon Road (Highway 180) in Dunlap. It is open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Saturday
through Sept. 1, then weekdays only. (559) 338-2251.
